What Not to Say

Wow, this is a great summary of how to interact with people who have cancer--and it was posted on Craigslist, of all places! Craigslist is totally tha bomb.

I found it thanks to the Imagine Bright Futures blog, one I haven't linked to previously--but will.

Thanks for the link! I wish that, a year later, my friends and family would still abide by the craigslist rules. But alas, they want life to go back to normal, even though for me the recurrence threat lurks in the wings and my life never will be the same as it was. BTW, your identity post up above rang a bell too, right on the money. Though I'd add that cancer has made me a lot more selfish, which in my world isn't a bad thing at all. Putting myself first is something I rarely did before, and now if I don't it just feels wrong. I joke that having had cancer has made me more like a guy, and then I feel so sexist for saying that! Sigh...
